Privacy policy
Vanstack is a static website with no user accounts, no ads and no tracking cookies. Below is what data is still processed, and by whom.
Controller
The data controller is Mateusz Brzeziński, the author of this site. Contact: kontakt@vanstack.pl.
Hosting (Cloudflare)
The site is served by Cloudflare. On every visit Cloudflare processes technical request data - including your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time - to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Details: Cloudflare privacy policy.
Statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, does not use localStorage, does not track you across websites and shows me only aggregated data (page views, pages, referrers, countries, device types).
Comments (Giscus and GitHub)
Comments run on Giscus and are stored in GitHub Discussions. The widget loads only when you scroll down to the comments section - at that point your browser connects to giscus.app and GitHub. Commenting requires signing in with a GitHub account; comments are public. The GitHub privacy statement applies.
Data stored in your browser
The site stores only the settings it needs to work:
localStorage- your theme choice (light/dark) and the fact that you dismissed the language suggestion bar,- the
langcookie - your chosen site language (valid for one year).
There are no ads, no tracking cookies and no newsletter.
If you write to me, I use your address and message only to reply.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, its rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, and you can object to processing. Write to kontakt@vanstack.pl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
